Sci-Fi Channel Starts Dark Shadows Series Again Posted by Elizabeth on May 20,2001: I was so excited to hear the familiar introduction..."My name is Victoria Winters...". These pre-Barnabas episodes are in black and white, and feature many of the characters that are seen at the very end of the series. Many of you will recognize the character Burke Devlin (Mitchell Ryan) as Edward Montgomery who now plays a regular on the series Dharma and Greg, as well as Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (Joan Bennett) who played Elizabeth Taylor's mother in the 1950 version of "Father of the Bride". This is a great opportunity for those of you who have never seen the series to catch it from the very beginning...and for those of you who have seen Dark Shadows numerous times, you can never tire of such a great program.
