Part Two: They're Here!!!!

I was very excited to see the new Dark Shadows trading cards premier at the 2001 Festival. Celebrity Inc. had a table set up and was selling a 66 card set, a deluxe 72 card set (which includes a binder, plastic card pages, and 6 bonus cards not found in the regular set), and sheets of un-cut trading cards. The cards in these sets are printed on heavy card stock (like the pink and green series), feature some never seen before black and white photos from the original Dark Shadows series, and have a bright orange border. Across the front of each card is the name of the character pictured in a script type. The backs of the cards in this series can be assembled into several different posters of various characters. The card shown here is number 1.
These cards have some really great new pictues of characters not shown in the other card sets. I did notice however, that there were no pictures of Willie Loomis. All in all, I am very happy to see that there is a new product out there for us to collect! (I have heard that only 2000 sets were produced.)
