In My Opinion...

Hey all you Dark Shadows fans out there. After months of work setting up this site, we finally launched Widow's Hill this month...yea! I have been spending lots of time scanning my collection of comics and cards and still have a long way to go (puzzles, posters, etc.).
I can't believe that I am in my 30's and just discovered Dark Shadows a few years ago. I have vague memories of it when it was first released, but I was too young to watch it. Then in the 90's when the new Dark Shadows came on, I did not miss one episode. I am still in shock that they cancelled such a great show. Now here it is ten years later and I get to see all the original Dark Shadows shows...some for the first time. What a great experience!
Well, back to the subject at hand. I decided that there were some good Dark Shadows sites out there, but that none of them were very helpful when it came to answering a variety of questions. When I first started collecting Dark Shadows items, I was frustrated that there were no sites to help me identify things (for example, what is the difference between the Whitman comics and the Gold Key comics, and how many Whitman comics are out there...as of this date I only have four in my collection).
Needless to say, this site was started for two reasons, first, my love of Dark Shadows, and second, my wish to have a site out there not only to help other collectors with their questions, but for the fans of Dark Shadows to go to for news, opinions, and lots of other things.
This site is a work in progress and will be changing quite often as I am able to scan in new items, write descriptions about these items, update you on news, and give you my opinion about the world of Dark Shadows. Be sure to check out my newest additions to the site in the new images panel on the right. I would love to hear from you with any comments, questions, or ideas you may have.
